Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka was born in Torrance, Calif. Her mother Carrie, an accomplished musician as well, encouraged her to be a musician. AJ was born in Torrance California and was influenced to pursue a career in music from her maternal grandmother Carrie. AJ was a resident for the majority of her youth living in Torrance, Seattle, and Milwaukee. The sisters were able to play the guitar and the piano from a young age. At the time they were teenagers, the sisters were the best in their fields. AJ was first introduced to acting when she was just 5 years old. She was also a performer in theatre productions at churches. AJ played a part as a student in the school's musical productions. AJ made her acting debut in 2002, as an 11-year old child, playing one small part in the television series 'Passions.
